Castaway Nusa Lembongan is headed up by husband and wife team Joe and Suna Cavanagh
Joe and Suna met on 1999 while Suna was visiting Perth from Canada.
Joe discovered his love of travel, fishing, diving and surfing at an early age after moving from Liverpool England to Perth as 9 year old. Joe has been a professional diver in the Kimberlys, is a licensed skipper and an avid fisherman. He was the Captain of the Fishing Association at the Swan Yacht club for many years and loves anything to do with the ocean.
Suna was born and spent her childhood in Istanbul Turkey, immigrated to Toronto Canada as a teenager and then found herself in Perth Western Australia in the late 1990’s.
Suna has had a long and successful career first in Banking and then in Publishing and Events, holding many senior roles over the years. Today she is still actively involved with a number of charities lending her time and expertise.
Together they have explored the world over the last 15 years and it all started when Joe offered to be Suna’s tour guide way back in 1999. They dreamt about a little place they would escape to one day and knew when they arrived in Lembongan 10 years later that they had found the perfect spot.
Castaway is the outcome of their dream.
