The waters around Nusa Lembongan are abundant in tropical fish species.

There are many different types of fishing in the Nusa’s depending on target species, budget and conditions from game fishing to coral fishing.

Targeting pelagic species including Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo, and the occasional Sailfish or Marlin.

Deep water jigging in depths from 65m to 185m produce Grouper, King Fish and Red Snapper to 20 KG.

The south of the islands hold quantities of Giant Trevally one of the most powerful fighting fish in close to the cliffs.

Coral fishing
When the current allows you can bottom fish for a wide variety of reef fish using baits. These include Trevally, Grouper, Coral Trout, Blue Bone, Jacket Fish and Snapper always good on the BBQ after a day on the water.

The locals of lembongan have been fishing these waters for hundreds of years. They can take you fishing in a local Jukung outrigger, setting nets early in the morning and then trolling before pulling the nets a traditional experience.
